Business Content Writing Training
Business Content Hacks: Make Them Act, Not Just Read
Most content does not fail because it is badly written. It fails because nobody actually designed it to do anything: no real reader in mind, no single action it is asking for, the same words posted everywhere. This situation-based session builds content that is designed to work, not just read well.
A few honest questions first.
If you had to describe your reader as one specific person, not a category, could you actually do it?
When you write something, do you know the one specific action you want the reader to take, or are you hoping for several things at once?
Does your content end with one clear next step, or several competing ones?
If any of those hit close, this session is built for exactly that.
Four shifts that turn content from written to designed.
Writing for one real person, not a category
Replacing labels like “senior leaders” with a specific reader, described in enough detail to actually write for.
Designing toward a single, specific action
Deciding the one thing you want the reader to do before you write a word, instead of hoping for several things at once.
Meeting readers where they already are
Shaping content around the platform, the words and the places your reader actually uses, instead of your own convenience.
Measuring whether it actually worked
Looking past likes to whether the content was actually found, resonated and led to the action you designed it for.
Good content is not content people like. It is content that gets a specific person to do a specific thing.
Entry- and Mid-Level professionals who write content as part of their work.
If you have ever published something with no idea whether it worked, or written the same update for three platforms without a second thought, this session is for you. It is built for anyone whose job includes writing content meant to get a response.

Writing content that works: straight answers.
Why does content that reads well still fail to get a response?
Content written for a category rather than a real person, or trying to inform, persuade and inspire all at once, tends to read fine and do nothing. It was never designed to move one specific reader toward one specific action. Direction: name the one reader and the one action before you write a word, and let every sentence serve that.
Should the same content be posted on every platform?
Posting identical copy everywhere ignores that each platform has its own audience behaviour and unwritten expectations, and readers notice the mismatch even when they cannot name it. Direction: treat every platform as having its own rules, and shape the same core message differently for where it will actually be read.
Why does content with a call to action still not get a response?
Ending with several competing next steps usually means the reader acts on none of them, because each one dilutes the others. Direction: choose exactly one next step, and make it specific enough that saying yes takes no extra thought.
How do you know if a piece of content actually worked?
Tracking likes alone tells you almost nothing about whether the content did its job. Direction: measure at more than one level, whether people found it, whether it resonated, and whether it led to the action you actually wanted.
Can Business Content Hacks be customized for our team, and what does it cost?
Yes. Every engagement is customized to your team’s level, language and schedule, so pricing is per engagement. Contact us for a quote. The first conversation is free and takes about 20 minutes.
“Think of the last piece of content you published. Could you name the one person it was for, and the one thing you wanted them to do?”
If you are not sure, that is what this session is for.
